Swallowing Diagnostics, LLC offers inpatient services and outpatient services.

Inpatient Services
For our inpatient services, we contract with the facility (hospital, rehabilitation center) to bring FEES services right to the patient's bedside. We use licensed speech pathologists to perform FEES testing. To arrange services at your facility, please see our contract, and we can answer any questions you may have.

Outpatient Services
For our outpatient services, we have partnered with Dr. Michael A. Shternfeld of Manchester Ear, Nose and Throat Association, to create The Swallowing Disorders Center of CT. We provide state-of-the-art outpatient FEES procedures and medical workup for swallowing problems in a comfortable clinic setting at the new Eastern CT Health Network professional building at the corner of Buckland and Deming Street in South Windsor, CT. Outpatient Services Offered

• Ear, nose and throat examination with laryngoscopy
• Medical Management of Reflux Disease
• Fiberoptic assessment to diagnose oropharyngeal dysphagia (FEES)
• Stroboscopy to evaluate laryngeal abnormalities

The Swallowing Clinic at Hebrew Health Care

A valuable program is now being offered by Hebrew Health Care’s Rehabilitation Department and Swallowing Diagnostics, LLC. Together we are providing comprehensive outpatient dysphagia services including the Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES) and VitalStim™ Therapy, which uses neuron-muscular electrical stimulation to strengthen swallowing musculature.
