Katrina Woodward, MS, CCC_SLPKatrina Woodward, MS, CCC-SLP – Director of Operations.
Katrina joined SDX as a FEES specialist in May 2005. Prior to enrolling with the SDX team, Katrina completed her Clinical Fellowship and FEES training at Hartford Hospital, later making the transition to work in subacute and long-term care facilities. Katrina collaborates with our talented staff to develop and market SDX’s special projects, contract staffing work, and educational networking events. She is responsible for all aspects of SDX FEES and staffing business, including sales, customer service, and daily operations. Her primary clinical interests include dysphagia and medications, geriatrics, and ethics. Along with being a competent and effective clinician, Katrina brings much energy and compassion to her work. Cheryl Rowe, MA CCC-SLPCheryl Rowe, MA/CCC-SLP has over 25 years experience in acute hospital, subacute rehabilitation, long term care and home care settings. She joined SDX in 2003 and in addition to performing FEES is employed part-time as the Speech Pathology Practice Leader at the Hospital for Special Care. Her area of expertise is in the assessment and management of dysphagia and she presents on FEES and dysphagia decision making to graduate students at both SCSU and UCONN. She is currently completing requirements for her BRS-S (ASHA Board Recognized Specialist in Swallowing). Cheryl performs FEES for SDX in the greater Hartford, New Haven and shoreline areas. Alicia CoxAlicia Cox, MA/CCC-SLP joined SDX in January 2007. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Iona College in 2004 and her Master of Arts degree from the University of Connecticut in 2006. Ms. Cox’s primary areas of expertise include dysphagia and neurogenic communication disorders in the geriatric population. Currently Alicia provides FEES services for SDX in Western Connecticut, as well as providing speech pathology services to several skilled nursing facilities in the Southington and New Britain areas. She is known by her colleagues to be a very dedicated clinician who is also fun and a pleasure to be with.


Andrea ZingarellaAndrea Zingarella, MS, CCC-SLP was introduced to the SDX staffing team in 2009, specializing in homecare and outpatient facility assignments. In 2010 she successfully completed her FEES training and joined the SDX team of FEES Specialists, now servicing facilities throughout Southwestern Connecticut. Prior to her work with SDX, Andrea was employed as a speech pathology traveler nationwide, working in Arizona, Texas, California, Alaska, and eventually returning to Connecticut. She has experience in acute care and in rehabilitation settings across the care continuum. A graduate of Northeastern University in Boston (2001) and Southern Connecticut State University (2003), Andrea brings her academic expertise and enthusiasm for life to her role a speech-language pathologist specializing in geriatrics. In her free time, she is a music buff and a very talented pianist, playing keyboard in a local band. A compassionate and well-spoken individual, Andrea is a welcome addition to the SDX team.


Wynne Patterson, MA, CCC-SLP was introduced to SDX in 2010, joining as a FEES Specialist for both Northeastern Connecticut and Massachusetts. Wynne is a compassionate and understanding individual. When her passion for working with people is added to her expertise in dysphagia, she shines as a dynamic resource for patients and therapists alike. SDX is proud to have Wynne as a part of the team.


Courtney AbrahamCourtney Abraham, MA, CCC-SLP joined SDX as a FEES Specialist in 2009. Courtney, a graduate of UMass, also serves as the Speech Clinical Specialist for AllStar Therapy, facilitating program growth and development, providing a resource for her co-workers state wide, and mentoring graduate students and CFYs. Courtney provides SDX FEES services to facilities in Southeastern Connecticut. In her spare time, she enjoys the company of her two dogs, Norm and Daisy.
