Peer Group

Swallowing Diagnostics seeks to unite the swallowing therapists in our community. Through a tri-annual peer group meeting held in various locations throughout the state, dysphagia clinicians can meet and discuss pertinent issues regarding patient care, ethical problem solving, latest advances and treatment techniques. Speakers are often invited to these meetings to present to the group in an informal setting over dinner.

Goals of Swallowing Diagnostics' Dysphagia Peer Support Group:

1. To help unite the community of dysphagia clinicians in Connecticut.
2. To provide a structure for both clinical support and networking among dysphagia therapists.
3. To serve as a resource for anyone seeking training in dysphagia.
